Thus, I began to follow my grandmother's advice and use cranberries as a preventive and curative folk remedy.

As it turned out, this useful berry is able to disinfect, cure coughs, heal burns and just perfectly quench thirst.

Using cranberry juice or juice, you can easily cure sore throats and colds.


Doctors often recommend that postoperative patients eat cranberries or drink fruit drinks to bring down the high temperature without the use of medications.


A huge advantage of cranberries compared to other fruits and berries is that it can be eaten by people with diabetes.

Those who know what kind of disease it is will understand me perfectly, because it is so difficult to choose the right diet and remedies if the blood sugar level exceeds the permissible level.

Colds: cranberry juice and honey. One glass of freshly squeezed juice will require two tablespoons of honey. It must be taken half an hour before meals.

In addition to juice, you can prepare cranberry juice, which is also very good in treating colds.

You will need about 200 g of berries, which must be chopped with a hand blender. Pour the juice obtained during grinding into a glass, and pour the berries with a liter of water.

Then the mixture should be brought to a boil, allowed to cool slightly and combined with juice. So that the fruit drink is not too sour, add honey or sugar.


In addition to juice or fruit drink, excellent tea can be made from cranberries.
Pour two cups of crushed cranberries with a liter of water and bring to a boil.

This mixture is used as a brew, which is diluted with boiling water. Sugar and honey are added to taste. If you have high blood pressure, do not drink more than half a liter of tea a day.


No matter how useful cranberries are, they also have contraindications.
If your stomach ailments have worsened, it is best to limit your intake of cranberry drinks for now, as they are too acidic for a sick stomach.
