6 things that look terrible on women aged 40+ My man's opinion
I am not a fashion designer or a female designer, and therefore I do not evaluate women's wardrobe professionally. Nevertheless, even I can see the miscalculations of ladies after 40, dressing things that they should simply throw out.
Someone may have slightly different tastes, but the following wardrobe items on older women make me either smile, or bewildered, or shed tears. And sometimes experience all these emotions together.
Ripped jeans
Perhaps, on a girl under 25 years old, a torn "jeans" will also look - it will emphasize her challenge to the whole world, and in especially frank cases it will even expose the spicy details of a well-behaved figure.
But on a lady over 40, ripped jeans look as if she was lost somewhere in her youth and cannot find a way out of there into adulthood. And the usual classic without holes on an aged woman certainly wins.
Mini skirts
A miniskirt is good when a girl is 20, and there is still a breeze in her head and a desire to declare her natural beauty to everyone. And this combination is really capable of taking you (I mean men) into some pretty daring, but completely controlled dreams.
But when a mini-skirt is worn on a lady over 40, I personally get the impression that of all the above combination, only the wind remains in my head, which, by the way, men use. And if a woman has also gone overboard with cosmetics, then it is simply impossible to dissuade me from the latter.
Hairpins with large flowers
I am of the opinion that for a lady of age, the wardrobe should be thought out to the smallest detail - and some symbolism should already be guessed in this fine art. After all, clothes can emphasize the status, mood, desires of a woman.
But such an accessory as a hairpin in the form of a flower, in my opinion, is suitable only for a girl who needs to show her romance and at the same time some kind of naivety. But a naive lady at 45 is nonsense.
Very high stiletto heel
An aged woman should take care of her health. And what kind of health can we talk about if she still loves a tall hairpin?
The load on the back and legs, inconvenience when walking - why does a lady need this, who at her age looks organically only in comfortable conditions?
Transparent blouses
When I see a woman over 40 wearing a sheer blouse, I fall into a playful state. But the game is called "find as many defects as possible." The figure and skin do not get better with age, but only a few are able to preserve them over the years.
Sequins and sequins
At least a precious metal or mineral should shine on an aged lady. But such a woman does not need cheap gloss - it only devalues her. Another thing is a young girl - she can do without status.
