Sharpening by hand on an abrasive cloth is difficult and you can only spoil the drills (the drill, like a knife when sharpening, must be kept in a strictly defined position). But in this case, the tooth on the chain is grinded from the outside. I believe this is the wrong sharpening that will shorten the life of the chain. It is still correct to sharpen the chain teeth at an angle and precisely from the inside of the tooth.

But whether it is convenient to use is difficult to assess. I did not find any reviews. But sharpening takes a long time. Because you need to rearrange and fix the position of the machine at each tooth.

I somehow ruled the chain with a round file. When there was no other chain, and it was necessary to finish the wood. The result is satisfactory. Of course, it's far from the sharpness of a fresh chain. It is better to give the chain to the gasoline tool repair points. For example, in the spring of 2020. in our city, sharpening the chain cost only 50 rubles.
