If, among the belongings left after the repair, you have lost a few boards, bars and furniture legs, then maybe it's time to finally use them? After all, many unique decorative items can be made from them that will make the interior stylish and original. Of course, it will take a little free time and effort, but the result will be phenomenal.

What do you have to lose? Time?! After all, you will always have time to bring them to the trash can. That is why I have collected 6 ideas for the use of the remaining bars and boards after the repair.

1.Multifunctional shelf. It is believed that the shelf is something massive and bulky. But no! Narrow wooden planks can be used to make a stylish rectangular shelf that will decorate a hallway or a room.

You will need: a couple of bars, about 10 narrow wooden planks, 2 small board trims - that's all. You can also add a mirror or ordinary metal clothes hooks to the shelf.

2. Wall decor. If you have a lot of used boards and trims of different lengths, why not cover the wall in your room or living room? With such decoration, the room will acquire brutal features and a little rustic flavor.

Before starting finishing work, carefully examine the wood: it should not be wet. This can lead to deformation of the decor. Make sure all boards are the same width. But the length is not so important. One "strip" can be made from 2-3 scraps. The finishing touch will be the coating of the wood with a transparent varnish.

3.Original headboard. Several wide planks can also be converted into an original headboard. Natural wood looks good in the interior of the bedroom, making its atmosphere relaxing and cozy.

But it is important to choose the right sizes. Since a too bulky headboard will make the space heavier, while a too small one will hide behind the pillows and dissolve into the interior. Also, after the completion of the work, the boards from the outside must be carefully sanded, otherwise you risk getting a splinter at the most inopportune moment.

4.Bedside table. Making a stylish nightstand is as easy as shelling pears. You will need: 4-5 pieces of plywood and metal legs, free time and, of course, a little imagination.

The laconic plywood bedside table is perfect for almost any interior. It will give it a modern look and save some money, because you don't have to buy new furniture.

5.Fashionable tray table. Do you like enjoying a cup of coffee in bed or snacking on goodies while watching a movie? Then a small portable table will come in handy.

For making it, a piece of unedged board is best suited, but you can take a regular one. Sand and varnish it. The finishing touch remains. Legs. You can make them yourself from a similar board or buy thin metal ones in a store - then the choice is yours.

6."Granary" door. Do you need an interior door? You can also do it yourself. Measure the dimensions of the doorway, prepare some planks and three long bars. Fold the boards together in one sheet and fix the bars with screws in the shape of the letter "Z" on top.

Now it remains to paint and attach the door leaf to the sliding mechanism. And now the "barn" compartment door is ready!
