How do I clean plastic windowsills from dirt, yellow spots and streaks. I'm talking about two budget and easy ways
By the New Year, I always do a general cleaning of the room, including washing the window sills from yellow spots, streaks, dirt and dust. Many do not tolerate bleach products because of the smell. Now I will tell you what simple, budgetary means and methods I use for this.
The first way
To remove traces of flower pots and other smudges and dirt, you need to take a bar of laundry soap (you can use a liquid version) and any toothpaste. You will also need a sponge and a glass (or other container).
The soap needs to be grated, put into a disposable cup and add 1-2 tablespoons of water, mix to get a liquid homogeneous mass.
Then you need to apply the prepared mixture to a dirty place, for example, on yellow spots.
I squeeze out some toothpaste there.
Take a sponge and spread the product over the contaminated surface.
Leave the mixture alone for fifteen minutes. After the specified time, take a sponge and wipe the surface of the windowsill. All stains and dirt are easily rubbed off. The windowsill will just shine.
Second way
This method requires baking soda, 9% vinegar, dish detergent, warm water, and a cloth.
It is required to soak a cloth in water and squeeze lightly. Next, you need to wipe the surface of the windowsill. Then pour the vinegar onto a cloth and pour the detergent onto it. Soda should be scattered over the entire area of the windowsill in a thin layer. Turn the cloth over and wipe the plastic surface on top of the soda.
Leave the mixture on the windowsill for ten minutes. Then wipe with a cloth and rinse off the rest of the product. With this method, everything is also well washed.
