All flower growers have long known about the miraculous effect of succinic acid on orchids. A simple and affordable tool that can significantly transform your flowers. It's easy to achieve this amazing effect, and I'll be happy to show you how.

Exposure to succinic acid

The scope of application of succinic acid for orchids is multifaceted. That, this tool will certainly come in handy for you:

· In order to reanimate the orchid after transplanting, transportation or other stressful situation;

· To increase the regenerative abilities of the flower after exposure to low or high temperatures;

· To enrich plant foliage with chlorophyll and improve photosynthesis;

· To improve the soil;

· To activate the process of root formation;

· To increase the defenses of the plant;

· For rooting a cutting of a violet;

· For longer flowering.

Optimal time

You can use succinic acid for orchids only during the vegetative period of the plant. But during dormancy (in the fall and on the ground, after flowering), it is better to refuse the use of succinic acid, since in this case the artificial growth of the flower will be provoked.

Features of solution preparation

Succinic acid is available in tablet and powder form. Let's consider separately.

1. From pills. 1 tablet must be crushed into powder with any available means. Dissolve the resulting powder in a small amount of liquid (about 50-70 ml).

Next, you need to add the missing amount of water (it should be at room temperature) to get the required volume of nutrient solution.

Usually, for healthy orchids, 1 tablet is taken per 0.5 liters of water, and for an emergency, the amount of liquid is halved.

2. Powder. 1 gram of powder is taken in 5 liters of water. The dissolution process is similar to that for the tablet form of succinic acid.

Application features

· For watering. It is necessary to water the orchid at the root, doing it as carefully as possible. When water starts to come out through the drain holes, there is enough liquid.

· For root stimulation. Relevant when transplanting an orchid. The roots of the flower can be soaked in a solution of succinic acid for half an hour.

· For wiping leaves. A cotton pad should be moistened in a solution of succinic acid and treated with the surface of the sheet, and so that the acid does not penetrate into the base of the sheet plates. After 2 days, wipe the greens with a swab dipped in plain water.

· For resuscitation. Improper orchid care leads to the fact that the orchid, growing, loses a significant part of its root mass.

In order to bring the orchid back to life, it should be watered with a saturated solution using a spray bottle. The procedure should be carried out in the morning.

If you haven’t used succinic acid in caring for your orchids, now you will surely make up for this omission.
