Why you can't walk in torn socks, but you should get rid of them as soon as possible.

Not all people believe in omens and superstitions, like those that if you spill salt, it will lead to trouble or a quarrel. Or, wearing clothes on the wrong side is sure to cause unhappiness in your life.

My distant relative, who, although she is at a rather advanced age, is not superstitious. But even she always believed that torn socks and other clothes with holes were the cause of financial problems in the family.

Therefore, when there was a time of crisis and my parents could not afford to buy new clothes on time, my aunt helped us out, because she simply masterfully owns a needle and a sewing machine.

She could repair things so quietly that it was impossible to notice whether they were darned or not. Everyone thought the clothes were new. She also relived good old things, making them trendy and modern.

She found a great way to save money: we handed over some clothes to thrift stores and used the money to buy new ones.

She taught us not to accumulate in our closets those things that are not worn throughout the season. Auntie argued that if you didn’t need clothes for such a long time, then you don’t need them, but it would be quite suitable for someone else. So we made sure that torn things did not even accidentally fall in the house.

My elderly relative also believed that dirty clothes did not bring good luck in financial affairs. As an example, confirming her theory, she called friends of her youth who saved up torn things and did not have any money at all.

But, as soon as they heeded the advice of my relative and threw away or mend their clothes, things went smoothly.

I made a conclusion and, therefore, when I myself created my own family, I taught my husband, and then the children, to order. As soon as they got something torn, and it happened very, very often, with my sons, I put aside all the cases and the first thing I did was to repair everything.

And I want to tell you that our financial well-being is an excellent proof that cleanliness in the house and the integrity of things play an important role in the appearance of money in the family.

Even if you think it's stupid that order in your home and whole clothes does not attract poverty, then think logically: even a purchase like socks can make a significant hole in the budget.

Thus, by mending them, you save a certain amount of money that you can put off or buy something more useful and necessary for them.

Be economical and thrifty, keep order in the house and in your closet! One has only to start up the economy, as everything starts to break down, break and pull extra costs with it.

If you don't believe me, try to live like this for a month or two and you will see that I am right.
