The reason is simple: it is easy to rule over such a weak-willed wife and offend her. After all, self-sufficient and independent will turn around and leave. He will definitely not tolerate it, especially when the husband is not trying hard to do something for the family.

Often, such habits appear even at the stage of acquaintance and the first date. The gentleman makes gorgeous gestures: he pays for dinner at an expensive restaurant, brings him home by taxi or his own car. But this implies that the lady must obey him in everything and not contradict him.

Young people cannot immediately figure out what they have gotten themselves into, so they are silent and smile. But experienced ones understand: you have to run, and the faster the better. But many even older women do not see this as an alarm bell, taking such gestures for generosity and caring.

Why should you stay away from such a man?

1. He is a potential house tyrant. Of course, patriarchy in itself does not mean that a person is insane or aggressive. But this is quite possible to assume, because why should he care so much about women's lack of freedom?

A self-confident man will never put conditions on his wife or cohabitant or blackmail her by parting. He accepts her for who she is.

3. He has psychological trauma associated with a woman. Often, after a traumatic relationship, people change beyond recognition. And a man's fascination with patriarchal foundations often originates in ruined feelings.

The first beloved girl betrayed, threw, laughed, cheated - that's the reason to get a little crazy. Do not naively believe that someone's love will cure him or help get rid of obsessions.

Thus, an adequate man will never impose his views on family life on all women he knows.
