Broke off relationship with a woman after trying her very first dish

The way to a man's heart is through his stomach! And it would be nice if all women correctly understand this worldly wisdom. Otherwise, they have every chance to repeat the story that recently happened to me.

I was dating a middle-aged lady. She was 39, just a couple of years younger than me. Of course, at this age, everyone already knows well what he wants, and therefore our relations have developed quite rapidly.

Having dined a couple of times in a cafe, I invited her to my home, where the main events took place.

I took over the preparation of a romantic dinner. In principle, I am a good cook - and to be honest, I also love delicious food. Therefore, the evening passed just without a hitch, as they say.

We were waiting for lasagna, Greek salad, vegetable cuts, a bottle of wine.

My girlfriend, having tried the dishes, could not resist compliments. But when asked whether she knows how to cook, she was somewhat embarrassed and answered literally with the following words: "A little, but not as tasty as you." How much modesty there was in these words, as I was convinced later!

When I woke up in the morning, I gave her a chance to show my skills: I gave her the entire kitchen and asked her to cook breakfast. We agreed on the most banal and simple dish - fried potatoes with onions. And then the indescribable horror began!

I immediately realized that she had never held a kitchen knife in her hands. Half of the potatoes with cuttings were immediately sent by her to the trash bag.

And then she poured oil into a good third of the pan. Well, all I had to do was breathe and watch the tragedy unfolding in full measure.

For myself, I have already decided not to interfere with current events. Having somehow coped with peeling the onion and carefully chopping it into small pieces, to her credit, she burned it, because she sent it to the pan ahead of time. In the end, she brought the potatoes to about the same state.

The atmosphere at breakfast was rather silent. I am a cultured person, I cannot tell a person bad about him just in the eyes. But already at that time he himself understood that nothing would come of my relationship with this lady.

We were already saying goodbye coldly enough, and it felt like forever. After this meeting, we no longer spoke. Apparently she herself was very ashamed.

I do not consider myself a slave to the stomach, but if a woman absolutely does not know how to cook, how can you live with her? I do not mind at all to replace it in the kitchen, if suddenly such a need arises, but it is not always the same to cook for a man.

And I generally refuse to use semi-finished products from the supermarket - homemade food is still tastier and healthier.

And if a woman has not learned to cook by the age of 30, which of her will be the mistress? Why does a man need her if he will do everything for her, including in the kitchen?
