That in no case should you plant near the Apple tree, otherwise you will be left without a Harvest at all

Conflicts between garden plants are not the most obvious, but serious problem. When planting fruit trees and shrubs, it is very important to consider their compatibility. Many of them will simply refuse to bear fruit if their neighbors growing nearby turn out to be unsuitable.

I was prompted to talk about this problem by a story of a friend: she complained that her apple tree in the garden did not bring any harvest last summer.

Soon we found out an offensively simple reason: her apple tree had unsuitable neighbors. I also tell you what exactly is worth planting away from this tree in order to wait for the apple harvest.

Raspberry

The fruits of these plants are wonderfully combined in compotes, but they should grow as far as possible from each other. By planting them side by side, you risk destroying both: the fact is that apple and raspberry are real competitors for survival.

Raspberry roots draw out all the liquid and beneficial nutrients from the upper layers of the soil, leaving no chance for the apple tree to get them and acquire fruits.

In addition, the different life cycles of these plants are also a problem. Raspberries bloom and ripen - and for the apple tree comes the time for chemical treatment against pests and diseases.

When sprinkling an apple tree, there is a great risk of getting on a raspberry bush and making the berry harvest unusable.

Rowan

By planting these crops nearby, you run the risk of getting a 100% wormy and unusable apple harvest.

It's all about the caterpillars of the mountain ash moth, which are not averse to feasting on the fruits of the apple tree and very actively settle in them. In addition, mountain ash consumes a lot of moisture from the soil, leaving almost nothing to the apple tree.

Cherries and cherries

Competition is a really dangerous thing. In this case, the main danger is the apple tree. Sweet cherries and cherries will simply draw moisture, mineral salts and other necessary substances from the soil around them, taking it away from all garden crops growing nearby.

The apple tree in this situation will quickly wither away - there is no need to even think about the harvest. Cherries and cherries are best planted in a separate corner of the garden, away from other trees and bushes.

It is better to plant an apple tree next to vegetables, as well as gooseberries and plums - these crops will not aggressively influence each other, transfer pests or take resources for active growth and development. Therefore, the harvest will be plentiful and of high quality.
