We bought two types of paint for ceiling wallpaper: Aquamat super white. We liked her better, I'll tell you why

While finishing the ceilings, we decided to paste over the plasterboard ceilings with wallpaper and paint them with paint. Holes for spotlights and chandeliers were already marked in them, so this type of finish seemed to us the least expensive.

Before pasting, the ceiling was, of course, putty, we additionally primed it, covering it with a deep penetration primer 2 times to make a better base.

Pasted wallpaper for painting in white with a very small pattern, not striking, but able to mask some microscopic irregularities. After the wallpaper was dry, it could be painted.

When choosing a paint, we consulted with the sellers in the store and was advised to choose a paint from Aqua with a matte effect. It fits well and has a super white tint, without forming yellowness even over time.

Of course, a bucket of this paint is quite expensive, but twice it should have been enough for us to paint the ceiling.

Unfortunately, as we have seen more than once, you should not trust the calculations given on the package. We just lacked one bucket to paint the ceiling, and we went again for paint.

But, to our chagrin, we did not find the same paint, having visited all the stores. I had to buy another one from the same company. It was a paint with a satin effect, that is, it was no longer matt. True, this paint was positioned as moisture resistant. And we still had a bathroom just in time for painting, without a shower and a bath, that is, completely dry, but the humidity level there is still higher than in the rooms. And the corridor, which is also quite humid.

We painted the ceiling with a different paint and here it became noticeable that the super white shade is not just a commercial move, but in reality, a characteristic of the paint. By the whiteness, the ceilings in the rooms were, of course, much brighter. Therefore, although we painted Aquasatin, we plan to someday paint another layer of Aquamat super white. We liked it more, because gives the effect of purity and freshness.
