Beautiful extendable table from the late 19th century. How to do. Blueprints

Greetings.

I found the design of this table on the website Popular Woodworking.

This design is a faithful reproduction of the table that the famous Molly Brown had when she and her husband lived in Leadville, Colorado.

Molly Brown is one of the surviving passengers of the Titanic, she was also called "Unsinkable Molly Brown"

The table is small, it can be quickly expanded to give comfort to any room. The design is quite original and interesting.

The manufacturing sequence for this table is as follows.

Boards for making legs are glued together on double-sided tape.

A template is glued onto the workpiece and the shape is cut with a band saw.

Next, the legs are sanded with sanding pads of a suitable shape.

After that, the hinges are installed. The hinge installation diagram is shown below.

The table top on this table is positioned using dowels.

A blocking block is fixed to the tabletop in the center. When assembling the table, he turns and presses the legs to the table top.

In the shelf, which fixes the position of the legs when unfolding, grooves are marked and cut out.
