Trees are already a wonderful decoration of the area around the house, but sometimes there is a desire to do something unusual and beautiful, so that it will simply take your breath away.
So not so long ago, I was struck by inspiration, which arose after a visit to one well, a very creative person engaged in landscape design.
As soon as I opened the gate to the yard of my friend, I froze on the spot with wild delight: I had not seen such beauty even in pictures. I felt like I was in a fairy tale!
Admires and you can endlessly talk about everything I saw, but now I would like to describe in detail the methods of decoration tree trunks, i.e. areas of soil around the trunk of a tree approximately 2 to 3 meters in diameter (depending on age and the size of the tree).
The trunk circle is very important for the normal growth of the tree, because it is in this place that oxygen, nutrients and moisture are delivered to the roots.
How can you paint the area around the tree so as not to harm the plant?
There are several options. Which one to choose is up to you!
1. Flower garden: flowers should be carefully selected for such a decor. They should be shade-loving, unpretentious and not tall. The following plants can be used: periwinkle, loosestrife, saxifrage, heuchera, etc.
2. Lawn: we sow the near-trunk circle with lawn grass, which we regularly mow, but in no case do we take out. Let it rot and nourish the tree.
3. Mulching: tree bark or large shavings will not only decorate the site, but retain moisture and prevent weeds from growing where they are not welcome.
4. Curbs: a circle is laid out around the trunk with beautiful stones. To make it interesting, you can lay out different patterns and use stones of different colors and shapes. But do not overwhelm the entire trunk circle so as not to harm the tree.
