Screwdriver attachment for sharpening drills from 2 to 12.5 mm. (now I don't buy new drills)
Various attachments expand the functionality of the screwdriver and drill. Now these tools can work not only for their intended purpose. The attachments can replace expensive equipment.
Rivet tooling, turbo, disc shears, angle nozzles, water pump, dust proof, etc.
A package arrived recently. I saw it on Joom and ordered a special attachment for a drill or screwdriver for sharpening old drills. Enriched my arsenal of useful things. It will come in handy on the farm.
Usually drills are sharpened on a machine. But I do not have such a device. The attachment, unlike the machine tool, does not require skills and special knowledge.
Includes a spare nut, washer and wrench. Collapsible nozzle, you can change stones. By the way, they are sold separately for this attachment.
The plastic case is sturdy enough. I could not only remove the protective cover (you need to pull it to the side). But even without that, it was possible to remove the stone and examine everything in detail.
By the way, I'll shoot a video and upload it to the channel today (by the end of the day). See for yourself how the nozzle has shown itself in operation.
Assembled back, tightened the nut as it should. By the way, it is better to lubricate everything at once. There are 3 grooves on the body to sharpen different drills and even dimensions are indicated (from 2 mm. up to 12, 5 mm.):
The drill must be applied correctly. Insert into the groove, fix with your finger and turn on the screwdriver. Here you need to practice to understand the operation of the nozzle.
A little skill and everything will work out. The drill must be turned slowly when sharpening.
Output: nozzle works. If no emery is available, then this is a good alternative. It is not very convenient that you need to hold the drill with your finger when sharpening, but you can get used to it.
Re-sharpening the drill is tricky, but the nozzle will perfectly sharpen the factory angle. At work I realized that drills are up to 8 mm. sharpen in seconds, and then a little longer.
