A fatty product for treating Plums in the spring. You can forget about Moniliosis and enjoy juicy and large Fruits

In order for a plum to bring a rich harvest of delicious, honeyed fruits, you need to take good care of it, this is known to every gardener! But I, frankly, for a long time ignored the rules of preventive measures, hoping to cure the plants in case they get sick... Naturally, I was losing my harvest!

Until finally, on the advice of a friend - a gardener with half a century of experience, I didn’t know the method of spring processing of plums from the main disease of this culture - moniliosis. And since then, I never miss it and enjoy the gorgeous harvest!

It all starts immediately after the snow melts - with the sanitary pruning of overwintered plums. Frozen and dried, broken off branches are subject to removal.

The next step is to dig up the ground in the near-trunk circles - thus, the heat penetrates faster to the root system of trees, and moisture reaches them faster. Simultaneously with the digging of the plum, it is necessary to feed. The optimal choice is compost and complex nitrogen fertilizer, for example - "Nitroammofoska". Thus, the health of the trees in general is improved.

Moniliosis is insidious in that it can appear in two forms:

1. The burn develops with lightning speed at the time of flowering, and, often mistakenly, at first, it is mistaken for the consequences of recurrent frosts.

2. Fruit rot develops in the second half of summer, when the fruits ripen and, as the name implies, they look just awful.

My choice is the preventive treatment of plum trees with mustard powder. Perhaps this tool will seem too simple to someone, but it has a lot of advantages:

· Cheapness;

· Ease of preparation;

· Ecological cleanliness.

The fact is that mustard contains a lot of specific compounds that effectively prevent the very existence of the causative agents of moniliosis!

To prepare the mixture, you just need to dilute 80 g of mustard powder in 10 liters of warm water and start treating the trees by spraying.

This must be done 4 times:

1. In the so-called “green cone” phase, when the buds have already burst, but the leaves have not yet had time to unfold.

2. When delicate pink buds appear.

3. Immediately after flowering is complete.

4. When the fruits were formed and began to fill with ripeness.

And guided by personal experience, I can say that the most important thing is not to miss the spring, the first treatment of plums from moniliosis!
