Inexpensive mini drill with attachments in a case for engraving, sharpening and polishing

This mini drill was purchased more than 10 years ago, when aliexpress was not yet so popular and most did not know about the variety of inexpensive miniature tools there. There was a need to make one piece of jewelry and an engraver was needed.

I bought it then at chipdip.ru. The online store is still working. But such a product, of course, is no longer there. There are analogues, in exactly the same case and with the same set of attachments (the link will be below). Case size: 230x200x60 mm. Weight 0.5 kg. The set consists of 62 elements: cones, cutters, discs, emery rings, brushes and fasteners for them:

The kit includes (except for the mini-drill itself):

power adapter, cut-off wheel holder; cutting circles; holders for polishing wheels; polishing discs; holders for emery tubes; emery tubes; drill; collet; nylon brush head; wire brush nozzle; sharpening bar; attachments with a grinding stone made of aluminum oxide; diamond drill; carbide drill.

For simple work, not a professional, this is enough. And why did I pay attention to this particular set - a mini-drill and attachments can be conveniently folded into a plastic case.

Motor specifications: 12V, 400mA, 12000rpm. Power 5 W. Collet and shaft lock for tightening the attachments. The power adapter and the engraver are connected by a connector. An engraver can do something in a car if you connect it to a cigarette lighter. This mini drill is convenient for drilling millimeter holes, for example, in circuit boards.

What are the advantages of this engraver? Light weight (175 gr. ) - the hand does not get tired at work. Yes, it is inferior in power to more powerful models. But it is not designed for jobs that require high performance. Well, and the most important thing is the price of the set. A similar set with an engraver with a power of 300-400 W has a cost of 3000 rubles.
