Where is the recipe

The recipe is quite famous and can be easily found on the Internet. More correctly it is called: pork rolls shashlik stuffed with bacon / mushrooms / chicken or vegetables - there are many options. The dish is suitable for both the grill and the oven. I brought out my recipe, which I am sharing.

The meat according to this recipe is very juicy. Here, minced legs, mixed with onions and cheese, play a huge role. The melted cheese, as it were, binds the liquid and prevents it from evaporating from the meat. Onions are a source of additional moisture, and chicken legs used for minced meat are distinguished by soft and juicy meat. I confess - this culinary masterpiece impressed me.

What is needed to prepare this dish

Required Ingredients:

  • Pork, neck or shoulder.
  • Minced chicken legs.
  • Cheese.
  • Champignon.
  • Onion.
  • Salt, black pepper.

How to cook

Cut the meat into steaks 1.5-2 centimeters thick. Be sure to beat the steaks slightly. Beat off not hard, but from the word "slightly!" To do this, place the steak in a bag and tap on it with a regular rolling pin. Then add a little salt and pepper to the meat on both sides.

Next, we prepare the filling. Mix one kilogram of minced chicken with 150 grams of finely chopped champignons; 150 g of onions, chopped into small pieces; 150 gr of grated cheese. Choose cheese to your taste - you can use ordinary Russian, suluguni or parmesan. Season the filling with a little salt and pepper.

Minced chicken, onion, grated cheese. It remains to add the finely chopped champignons and mix well.

When the minced meat is ready, it needs to be wrapped in a steak - to make rolls. The amount of minced meat must be selected so that the meat completely covers it. Put the finished rolls in the freezer for 30-40 minutes. This is necessary so that the rolls are well strung on the skewer.

The rolls are sent to the freezer for 30-40 minutes.

While the meat is in the freezer, light the grill. When the coals are almost ready, cut the rolls into pieces of 5-6 centimeters, string them on skewers and cook. This shashlik is fried on coals for 20-25 minutes.

If the weather does not allow you to light up the grill, cook the stuffed rolls in the oven. To do this, spread the cut rolls on a baking sheet and place in a preheated oven for 1 hour at a temperature of 190 degrees. And, further, bon appetit!
