Honest review on PHOTON VA-2500 - credit card-sized powerbank
Hello dear guests and subscribers of my channel. Today I will analyze in the most detailed way all the pros and cons of the PHOTON-2500 miniature battery and conclude that it is advisable to purchase it. So let's get started.
Purchase and delivery
So, probably, more than once you have had a situation when the phone treacherously sat down, and there was nowhere to recharge it. In this case, the ideal solution is to always have a power bank with you.
But carrying a large battery with you is not always convenient. Therefore, I decided to find myself a small but reliable battery, and for little money.
Initially, I immediately went to the well-known foreign portal to all of you, but after a short search I decided to also look at our stores and went to Yandex. Market.
That's where I found what I was looking for. My choice fell on the cheapest battery, which at the same time I got at a discount (due to bonuses), and even with a two-year warranty. Without thinking twice, I placed an order and three days later I picked it up at the point of issue.
Specifications and first impressions
So, let me remind you once again that I was looking for the most compact battery, so the first thing I did was check how it feels in jeans pockets, and here's what I will say. I always have a work ID with me, but in reality this battery is smaller than it and is almost not felt in my pockets.
It's actually a little bigger and thicker than a credit card.
Of course, you have to pay for such a modest size, so the capacity of the lithium-ion polymer battery is only 2500 mAh. This immediately suggests that one charge is enough for a maximum of one cell phone charge (and even then not up to 100%).
By the way, the kit with the battery includes a short charging cord and detailed instructions in Russian, from which I learned that I received a battery that was only 25% charged. Unpleasant, but fixable.
In addition, in addition to the standard Micro USB connector, the kit includes an adapter to the 8PIN connector. Otherwise, this is the simplest battery, without any bells and whistles.
So, after several charge-discharge cycles, I came to the conclusion that the PHOTON-2500 battery fits perfectly into my requirements for a small emergency charging for reasonable money. If you have the same gadget, then write your opinion in the comments.
