We bought a Heateq water heater for my mother, her neighbors began to ask for the same - they had to buy it too

My mother decided to live in the country 5 years ago. Our dacha is a fairly sturdy log house, albeit an old one. But when we insulated it, blocked the roof, it became perfectly suitable for year-round living. The village is quite crowded, there is a shop, a paramedic station, so she felt very good there. The only drawback was the lack of hot water, although there is running water in the house. And we bought her the first small storage water heater that came across for 30 liters Heateq.

And for 5 years now, she has not known any problems with washing dishes and hands in winter. Moreover, I will say that a year later we brought the same water heater for her neighbor, my mother's friend. She also enjoys it. And other villagers looked closely at their improvement, although at first they believed that the water heater wastes too much electricity.

Description of the water heater

The water heater immediately came with a bracket on which it was attached to the wall. There was also a safety valve and an instruction manual. We installed the valve, without fail. We comply with all safety measures that are required. After all, the house is wooden, so everything related to sparking, heating and other fire-hazardous things, we strictly control.

The device is not particularly beautiful. Hangs in her kitchen corner. And although it does not serve as an interior decoration, it knows its functionality perfectly. This is a white tank with a temperature regulator and a scale for adjusting it. To put it, for example, in a cramped urban kitchen would be inconvenient - it is voluminous. But in a big country house, it doesn't matter.

We did not need a larger storage device, because my mother lives, most often, alone. In the summer, we heat the bathhouse almost every day, so we use little water heater.

At the bottom there is a rotary water heating regulator with four levels. They are marked with Roman numerals, which is rather strange. But it does not change the essence. There is also a red heating indicator light. The light is on, it means the heating process is in progress.

That is, the device is very simple and straightforward, it does not require any special user skills.

The electric cord is very short, about 85 centimeters, but since there was an outlet in the corner where we immediately planned to hang it, we used it. And for other needs, over time, they installed a new outlet.

But some owners will find such a cord very inconvenient, they will either have to use an extension cord or carry an electrical outlet.

For its operation, a single-phase network with a voltage of 220V is required. The power of the heating element is 1.5 kW. The volume of heated water is 30 liters. It is desirable to filter the water, or use it from a well. As in our village. Otherwise, limescale will form.

The average time for heating water with a volume of 30 liters to a temperature of 70 degrees is 25 minutes. But since we never use the entire tank, this time is not required, the water is always hot. Besides. we set the temperature to no higher than 40 degrees. And only a few times a month we heat it up to 70 degrees to kill possible bacteria. Which will appear in the tank when the water is not hot.

The instructions indicate that the water heater has passed special certification of the State Standard of Russia and fully complies with the requirements of GOST. That is, the technique is not some kind of Chinese, but quite high quality.

If an abnormal situation arises and the water heating reaches 85 degrees, then the thermal switch will work, turning off the heating element. This is a very good option, because our mother is already elderly and may forget something. Or simply, over time, the water heater will fail, which someday will still happen.
