As a gift to our daughter, we choose a hanging chair - we did not understand what its meaning and convenience is

Our daughter turns 20. And for about a month now, both my wife and I constantly appear in the mail and in the feed of social networks with pictures depicting hanging chairs. The hint is more than understandable. And we, having discussed the issue, decided to make this gift to our daughter for her anniversary. Moreover, she now lives separately, and she needs new furniture.

We first examined the issue. Hanging chairs are made of an aluminum frame that is braided with eco-rattan. The frame can be of different shapes - a ball, a drop, an oval.

A soft pillow or mattress is placed in it, sewn to the shape of the lower part of the chair. It turns out a kind of cocoon, which undoubtedly looks very cozy and original. But its convenience for us is extremely doubtful.

The chair is attached to a metal bar. Of course, in a private house it can be attached to the ceiling, but our daughter stayed to live in a city apartment after we left for a new house. Therefore, a stand is necessary for her chair.

Arriving at the Leroy Merlin store, we saw a good selection. And the prices turned out to be much lower than what we saw on the Internet. Therefore, hoping to buy a chair within 20 thousand rubles, we were very happy that we would be able to save money.

We chose the largest chair we had. Its price is 11,860 rubles. The mattress in it is of a pleasant coffee color, the frame is rather thick. Other chairs are more expensive, but their frames are thinner, which we did not like.

True, the rack is black, but there were simply no other options.

We really hope that our daughter will like our gift, because we are strenuously pretending that we do not understand her hints. Let her not know to the last what will be presented to her in two days.

Of course, this piece of furniture will give her apartment a trendy touch. Indeed, for young people this is now the last squeak. We remember how 10-12 years ago bean bags appeared, and young people dreamed of them. But they turned out to be, nevertheless, impractical and inconvenient. Faithful sofas, nevertheless, are difficult to replace with something.
