Artificial plants in the interior are a fashionable element, not grandma's flowers.
Increasingly, I see artificial plants on the shelves of shops that sell fancy things for interior decoration. Sometimes it is very difficult to distinguish them from real ones, they look so natural.
These, of course, are not the imitations of flowers made of paper, plastic or fabric, which are sold in armfuls at the entrance to cemeteries on commemoration days.
For decoration, plants are used that are placed in pots, they look as if they are growing and are not much different from them. Even the imitation of the earth in the flowerpot is made of a sponge or other material, sprinkled with pebbles on top and looks quite natural.
We had a problem with decorating the kitchen. Since the ceilings are high, it turned out that there was a space between the ceiling and the top of the kitchen cabinets, which required filling. I don’t want to put dishes there, or I don’t want some figures, it looks sloppy and out of date.
Since our kitchen is light green, I wanted to put a pots with plants there. But the kitchen upstairs is very hot, dry and dark. No plants will survive there, they will suffer and look frail. Moreover, I do not want to go upstairs every day to water, spray, or feed them.
And I decided to find artificial plants. Choose inexpensive options, try how it will look. And then, perhaps, update, buy something new and better.
The first thing we saw is a set of three planters with plants. I liked him, he could well fit, if the pots were a little larger, and the plants were taller. Such small plants did not solve our space filling problem.
Plants with flowers also did not cause me enthusiasm. But greens of a dark and light green shade were quite suitable. True, the black pots looked gloomy. But I immediately decided that I would decorate them with a light green ribbon, she would refresh them and create a single ensemble.
And so, it turned out what we have. The kitchen now looks complete and the artificial plants fit perfectly into the interior.
Designers vying with each other advise using such an element of decor, and we decided to try it, we are satisfied with the result.
