I love simple recipes. So that it came out inexpensively, but very tasty! Today's recipe is from this series, so I recommend trying it if you still have a pumpkin in your basements or cellars, like mine. Although, even when it's over, I think I'll go to the market and buy for the sake of such an unusual and simple delicacy at the same time.

For my new recipe, it is advisable to take a pumpkin of medium size. If you put a lot of meat in too large, then it will take a long time to cook.
As usual, we cut out the cap, remove the core, that is, the seeds with fibers, clean well.
In a bowl, prepare a mixture of spices for meat - spices for taste and color, as they say. I know some people just cook with salt, but I added spices instead of salt.
You can take chicken legs, this time I prepared fillets for filming. By the way, my relative in this way cooked a duck in a pumpkin for the new year. It also turned out tasty and unusual. And you choose the meat you prefer for yourself.
A relative of mine even tried adding a few medium potato tubers to a large pumpkin on top of the meat pieces. I wrote that it turned out very tasty. In general, experiment.
The advantage of my set of spices is that no one who ate it noticed that the dish was without salt!
And this is so useful when you consider that we eat much more salt than is necessary daily. And therefore, I will continue to publish similar recipes without salt on my channel, if you are interested.
Mix the meat with spices and put it in the pumpkin. You can fold a full pumpkin if the family is large, but it will take longer to cook. If less, then we keep it in the oven for less too. Put the onion on top. Close with the cut out "lid", put in the oven at 180-200 gr. for about 3.5 hours.
But half an hour before readiness it will be necessary to pull out, open the lid (remove, the pumpkin is already ready), slightly open the walls of the pumpkin themselves, slightly open a bunch of meat. If there is a lot of juice, then the juice must be removed. We put it back in the oven for half an hour. And you can serve it on the table! Enjoy everyone!
