How to make a gas burner run on gasoline: garage technology

The ingenuity and ingenuity of our people can only be envied. There is a solution to any problem, and if not a direct one, then an alternative one. A blogger under the nickname andrey 22_rus managed to use a compressor, two bottles and a hose to make the gas burner work on gasoline. Let's review and discuss this technology.

How it works

The system consists of a compressor, two five-liter plastic containers, hoses and, in fact, a burner. In the lid of each container, two holes are made into which the hoses enter. The connections are sealed to prevent leakage of gasoline vapors.

From the compressor, pressurized air through a hose enters the first bottle of gasoline. Let's call this bottle an evaporator - this container is ⅓ part filled with fuel. The air intake hose is submerged in gasoline. The incoming air sets the flammable liquid in motion, causes evaporation and builds up pressure.

The second hose is fixed under the lid, through which gasoline vapors pass into a second container, half filled with water. We will call this container a water seal, since it prevents the outflow of vapors in the opposite direction. The gasoline vapor hose is submerged in water, and the intake hose is located under the water seal cap.

Gasoline vapors pass through the water, accumulate in the upper part of the improvised water seal and, due to the created pressure, pass into the burner. And then gasoline vapors are successfully combusted, converting into thermal energy.

Is it possible to heat premises with such a system?

According to Andrey, only half a liter of gasoline was produced in 4 hours of burning. Perhaps, in some special conditions, such a burner will help out. It is difficult to judge the real efficiency of this device.
