I bought walnuts for the cake, but found them a completely different use: removed defects from wooden furniture

We will need:

• Walnut kernel.
• Soft cloth.

Step 1.

Take the walnut kernel. If it is whole, then we cut it into halves. We begin to rub the scratch with this half. Rub in a circular motion over the entire scratched area. Walk along the scratch several times, give this moment enough time and attention. I also went a little beyond the scratch area so that there was no bright transition.

Step 2.

Leave for a few minutes so that the oils are better absorbed into the damaged surface. The approximate waiting time is 5-10 minutes. It is best not to touch the surface and do not process it again, even if you think that the scratch is still visible.

Step 3.

Take a soft cloth. Polish the surface. Also in a circular motion. Then go over the entire surface with the same cloth for better masking of the defect.

Step 4.

Examine the scratch. If it is not completely painted over, then repeat the procedure again.

I did it very well the first time, despite the fact that the scratch was not on the wood, but on the facade film. I tried to repeat this life hack on a wooden table and chair, and everything worked out for me. I think this method is very simple, budgetary and affordable. Especially when you are waiting for guests, and there are no professional tools at hand.

I recommend this method to everyone. But remember that this method is suitable for shallow defects. In case of significant damage, it is better to buy professional products.
