Such demands suddenly began to be made to the inhabitants of St. Petersburg.
Officials and management companies began to demand from residents of the city to remove the glazed windows on the balconies! Moreover, in many cases they asked to demolish the glazing, which appeared several years ago in apartments, in which several owners have changed... My friends faced this! The case has come to trial!
But yesterday a miracle happened!) On March 10, the Legislative Assembly adopted a law on "balcony amnesty." The bill was considered, approved and adopted in St. Petersburg.
What does the new bill give us?
Changes were made to the law on the Administrative Offenses Code; now it is forbidden to impose fines on "glazers".
Great news, isn't it?! We will not be fined!)) The glazing of balconies and loggias, which was made before January 1, 2021, is no longer considered unauthorized. Now no one can "get to the bottom" of this. There will be no administrative penalties, fines, or legal proceedings!
There is another amendment that was made to the rules for the improvement of St. Petersburg at the end of 2020.
She also touched the facades, balconies and loggias. This decree prohibits requiring owners of apartments in multi-storey buildings to put balconies and loggias in order, invented by officials. That is, management companies and any authorities now have no right to force people to bring the appearance of balconies and loggias to the projects created by the designers. You cannot be forced to demolish glazing, dismantle structures. Allowed to leave everything as it is!
They left the people of St. Petersburg alone! And this is very good news!
But the glazing and changes in the design of balconies and loggias, which will be carried out from January 1, 2021, must be approved without fail.
