We buy a baby bed for a granddaughter

A granddaughter will now live with us in a country house, because her parents are constantly busy at work. Such is now life has gone that parents come home late from work, squeezed out like a lemon. We looked at their lives, like a child sits in front of the screen all evening, and decided to help a little.

But it became necessary to furnish the nursery, because a five-year-old girl should have her own space. And we went to the store to choose what she needed most - a bed, a table and a wardrobe for the first time.

Honestly, we were just stunned by the prices for children's furniture. We went into two stores and realized that we would only buy a bed, because the rest of the money simply would not be enough right away. Moreover, the furniture looked the most democratic, not some cool and fashionable.

The granddaughter immediately liked the machine bed. She loves any technique and did not leave these toys for a long time. For us, of course, this option was not suitable. The price of such "childish happiness" is 26,300 rubles.

In the same store, there was a set of furniture in a beautiful beige color, consisting of a wardrobe, shelves and a bed.

I liked it, but the size of the bed is too small for us, the granddaughter will grow out of this in a year. A bed with a mattress would cost us 17 thousand rubles.

Seeing the next set, I exclaimed that this is exactly what we need. The granddaughter also seems to like this set, because of the pillows, of course. And the size is good. But when she saw the price, 33,720 rubles, she just sighed and moved on.

An extension with shelves and glazed doors for such a bed costs 36,000 rubles. And I didn't even bother to look at the cabinet, although it is very beautiful.

Just a crib called Dolphin. It is inexpensive, 9150 rubles and 6000 mattress. There are drawers, but there is no closet or table for it, which we could then buy. And I don’t want to put in different-colored furniture.

Another set reminiscent of the sea, of summer. As beautiful blue as I like. And the bed is big, for a teenager, which suited us perfectly.

The price with a mattress is about 17 thousand rubles. The wardrobe, table and shelves can be purchased later.

While we were talking with the seller, the granddaughter came running and walked around the store and loudly announced that she had found what she needed. Everyone went to watch.

It turned out to be a bright, sunny and cheerful furniture set. The child liked it, of course, thanks to the bright cover on the mattress with giraffes. The price of such a crib with a mattress is about 25 thousand rubles. But it is small, that is, it is no longer suitable for a teenager. And children grow up so fast.

We showed our granddaughter the crib we had chosen, and from the store they gave her a toy that was on the shelf above the crib. This completely reconciled her with the new furniture.

After calculating the costs of a wardrobe, shelves and a table, we realized that furnishing a nursery is about how to build a foundation for our house. At the same time, sellers advised us not to delay buying, since prices have been raised three times since autumn. And another increase is expected in March.
