Tired of the constantly forming condensation on the kitchen window in winter. I show you how easy it is to solve this problem.
Currently, almost all wooden windows in our apartments have already been replaced with plastic ones.
And everything seems to be good, you don't need to paint and glue them for the winter, they provide heat and sound insulation perfectly.
But they also have one serious drawback.
In winter, condensation appears on the glass unit. It is especially common on the kitchen window when cooking.
This causes a lot of inconvenience.. Because you have to constantly monitor and during the time to remove the water flowing down the glass unit from the window sill.
If this is not done, then dampness will provoke the formation of a fungus, which is difficult to get rid of.
But this does not mean that you need to constantly be on duty at the window with a rag.
There is a simple solution to this problem, which will help not only get rid of condensation, but also improve air exchange in the room.
Which one? Consider below.
There can be many reasons for the formation of condensation on windows. But the main one, of course, is violation of ventilation due to the tightness of the plastic window.
What to do?
It turns out everything is very simple. It is necessary to install a supply valve on the window. It will help to normalize air exchange inside the room, without having to open a window or break its tightness.
The valve is installed quickly and easily.
The first step is to decide on the installation location (the correct location is indicated in the photo below).
Then, using a clerical knife, you need to cut off a typical seal equal in length to the valve.
And remove it. And in its place, in three positions, you need to install plastic fasteners (included in the kit).
Then it is necessary to remove the protective film and fix the valve to the frame with self-tapping screws.
After that, from the opposite side of the frame on the sash, you also need to remove the excess seal.
Then install the fasteners, remove the protective film and fix the valve to the upper part of the sash with self-tapping screws.
The supply valve in the kitchen will provide a continuous supply of fresh air, humidity will normalize and condensation will not form on the windows.
