Frequent morbidity in children is one of the signs of reduced immunity. Parents by their influence weaken the resistance of the child's body. At the same time, many of them believe that they make the life of their children better and more comfortable.
Cold or heat
We all know how to choose clothes for the season, but not every parent understands how comfortably the child is dressed, whether he is cold or warm. Newly-born parents are afraid of hypothermia, especially in the winter season, they unnecessarily insulate the child. In other seasons, children are dressed warmer than necessary. Everyone has made similar mistakes, and I am no exception.
In such conditions, the child's body is subject to overheating, he will sweat, and efforts will be required to regulate heat transfer. Gradually, the body will get used to the heat and stop producing and forming protective reactions, which is very important for immunity.
Now I dress children according to the weather, taking into account that he will move and he should be comfortable. To understand how many layers of clothing a child should wear, it is enough to know a simple rule - there should be 1 layer more than an adult.
Vitamins are real
Parents always want the best for their child, especially when it comes to health. Providing proper and abundant nutrition, delicious meals, serving are just a small part of what parents want to do. Nutrition is supplemented with vitamin preparations. The body, like a greenhouse plant, is in a state that everything will be served on a platter and over time it ceases to understand why it is necessary to strain.
The human body has enough vitamins and minerals obtained from vegetables, fruits, meat and fish in excess. I include different foods in my baby's menu so that he gets the most needed vitamins. Especially useful are carrots, oranges, legumes and berries containing phytonutrients that prevent disease.
Artificially created vitamins are difficult for the child's body to absorb and can harm the health of the baby, especially if taken without a doctor's prescription.
Sweet tooth
The attitude towards sweets in society is changing so that in children's institutions a diet is introduced in which sweets are minimized. True, grandmothers are not asleep, trying to save their grandchildren from the inevitable carbohydrate hunger. And many parents often unreasonably spoil their children, punish them with a ban on sweets, thereby making sweets and chocolates a cult.
Scientists' studies have revealed the dependence of the decrease in immunity on the love of sweets. The more sweets children eat, the higher the risk of health problems and the percentage of reduced body immune defenses.
Everyone in the garden
Children are not much on the street, in the air. High employment at school, hobbies for computer games make children spend a lot of time indoors. Parents are happy that they do not have to worry about the child. Meanwhile, the child is losing immunity.
Different temperatures and abundance of oxygen are very important for strengthening the immune system. Only in the fight against cold or heat will the body be able to develop a defense and apply it during the attack of viruses and bacteria.
We will treat
The slightest manifestation of a cold makes parents run to the pharmacy for antiviral drugs. Until recently, I myself also reacted to the onset of a cold. There is no need to give your baby serious medications if the only symptom is a runny nose.
In fact, the immune system is on guard for the interests of the body and immediately begins to fight viruses. In this case, the temperature can rise to 37-38 degrees and this is a completely normal situation requiring only parental control.
