The electrician saved my nerve cells! Now I know the trick
Friends, today I want to share with you an interesting trick that our new electrician told me. He has a lot of experience, but he joined our team quite recently. We quickly worked together and began to learn from his experience! Especially useful secrets! Despite the fact that in our work we are often faced with the installation of sockets and socket boxes, we never thought about how we can simplify our life! Until Pyotr Sergeich appeared in the team!
I'm telling you!
Surely you have encountered a problem when, when installing a socket box (earlier they were called "boxes"), the screws are clogged with building materials. Approximately, as in the photo below - screws and holes are clogged with plaster. Then you have to clean it all up for a long time and patiently! This is terribly annoying! In such a situation, there is not enough "vocabulary" or patience to withstand the emotional stress of the problem)) But there is a way out!
It is worth saying that this secret appeared on the wave of popularity of the "euro" standard box, to which the sockets are attached with these screws. Then it was all a novelty and very unusual - in the Soviet Union, fittings with struts were used, and there was no such problem at all - there was just a box without latches, screws, bolts and other rubbish.
Recently at the facility, we talked with our electrician, played "the fool" and raised various construction topics. When the conversation reached sockets and socket-boxes, Pyotr Sergeevich roused himself and began to swear at us... Like - Why do we need a head at all?... and showed us with a glance at the brigade of painters. We didn't understand anything ...
The meaning of his gaze was that the painters were just unwinding the tape to cover those areas of the object that did not need to be painted! That is, in order to get rid of the problem of stuck screws, you just need to unwind a little scotch tape and stick it on these fittings. Everything! Well, this is brilliant! #Useful Tipscan sometimes be so simple!
From that moment on, all the problems in this part disappeared, and now I work with plaster with pleasure. I pasted the screws on the boxes with adhesive tape, installed the socket box, filled everything around with plaster, peeled off the adhesive tape, but the screw remained clean! Well, a miracle!)
When the work with the plaster is over, you can simply tear off the masking tape and continue #repairs The masking tape can be removed immediately before the installation of the sockets, because after the plaster work, all the same painters must do their part!
Yes, you will say that masking tape is not always at hand, but it is even worth stocking up on it on purpose. This is a very handy thing or even a tool that can be used in various fields. And if, nevertheless, such an adhesive tape was not at hand, then ordinary adhesive tape with paper, and electrical tape, and any other adhesive tape will do!
