How to surprise your child? Showing a simple trick with appearing drawings
My youngest daughter recently turned 5 years old and she loves it very much when I show her some magic tricks. Children at this age are very active in learning about the world around them and it is very easy to surprise them, it is worth showing just a little imagination and your child will receive a charge of positive emotions for the whole day.
And now, recently I I learned a very interesting trick with emerging pictures, from which my daughter was just delighted. I am sure your children or grandchildren will like it too. It is done very simply, and it only takes a couple of minutes to prepare it. Now I will share it with you.
In order to make magical pictures, we only need two things. These are any multi-colored markers (markers).
And a white paper towel (napkins or regular toilet paper will work as well).
Take a piece of paper towel (rectangular shape) and fold it in half.
Then we take markers and start to show our imagination. To begin with, on the front of the napkin, let's draw, for example, a simple house. We'll also add a pipe and a window. Yes, I am still the artist, but the ability to draw is not the main thing here!
Then we unfold the napkin (our drawing should be slightly imprinted on the other side). If the paper towel is very thick and does not print, you can delaminate it by peeling off one layer of paper.
Draw something else on the inside: tree, grass, birds, sun and so on. We only do this so that the area in which the house is imprinted remains empty.
To make everything more fun, we make a few more similar drawings on other napkins (the more there are, the more interesting it will be). For example, I also drew a boat and a flower (which is drawn from the inside, you will see at the end).
The last thing we need is a large basin of water or, if all the pictures do not fit into it, you can fill the bathtub with water.
And now the fun begins. Do not forget to pronounce the well-known magic spell "abracadabra" and in turn we immerse our drawings in water. Right before our eyes, the pictures will begin to come to life and appear, creating a small animation. How this happens, see the short video below..
