I want Allium bow!
That's how it is always, you live yourself, you live. Everything is fine. And suddenly, bang! It turns out that there is a beautiful and very useful plant, and it is problem-free in care, and it multiplies easily. And in your garden it is not.
This time I found out about the Allium bow. It is considered wild, but does not refuse to grow in vegetable gardens. Its other name: Aflatunsky bow. Because they overlooked him at the Aflatun pass (Tien Shan).
Allium benefits
- Eaten in early spring, leaves and bulbs
- Very tasty, something like garlic, pleasant sourness
- Unpretentious from the word at all, ready to grow on poor soil
- I planted it and forgot it for 5 years - the dream of a lazy person
- Propagated by bulbs and seeds, no problem
- It blooms in May-June with beautiful balls, many plant it as a decorative one. Some varieties reach a height of 1.5 m - a chic accent in garden design
- Not afraid of frosts down to -35 °
- Useful-useful
In early spring, of course, no one will give up vitamins C and D, and E.
By the way, about unpretentiousness. Allium himself grew up with friends, apparently, the bird helped. So in the fall, when digging, they threw the bulbs here and there, but the onion did not take offense and in the spring again pleased with the first greens.
And yet! Allium Aflatunsky
- Relieves spasms of the brain
- Good for vision
- Helps with colds
- Treats some stomach ailments
- If you rub the juice into your head, your hair grows better.
But! You need to eat a little.
A couple of allium varieties to lift your spirits
They plant up to five dozen bulbs per square meter and get an allaria - an onion garden
There is also Allium not Aflatunsky, other species, also interesting.
