After that, the craftswoman begins to spin, pulling a thin thread of fibers from a bunch of wool and simultaneously twisting it. Such a thread is wound on a spindle.

My colleague also has an electric spinning wheel, which itself releases the finished twisted thread through a thin hole. Of course, on such a device, the process is much faster. But it is believed that such a thread is less durable than the one that is spun by hand.

After the threads are ready, they are tied into a skein that is soaked for several hours in a highly scented liquid detergent solution. After all, it is clear that dog hair has a strong unpleasant odor. Therefore, you need to use a scented detergent. Just not a powder, but something liquid, so that no plaque remains.

At the end of soaking, the threads are gently washed and dried. And then they are wound into balls on a special reeling device. It turns out neat beautiful balls. And socks or belts are already knitted from ready-made threads. They are said to have a healing effect, so there is no shortage of buyers.
