Is it easy to move petunias to a greenhouse
As always, I will share the beauties and usefulness. Finally, from the cramped windowsill, the petunias went to the greenhouse. The first flowers are always the most exciting. After all, you never know whether a variety (hybrid) corresponds to the description or not.
This year, everything is happy! Sowing was on February 2, seedlings began to appear on the fourth day. And now, 2 months after sprouting, petunias bloom one after another.
This is a baby bush with double pink flowers up to 10 cm. In one of the comments I was told that terry hybrids do not seed. I really hope so!
In general, this year I wanted to plant at least petunias. Where is there! How are we without this beauty:
She, too, is expected to have large flowers, 10-12 cm, but while they are 7 centimeters each, you need to fertilize better. And the bush will be as small as that of pink terry.
In order for the petunias to bloom early, I sowed them early, fertilized them, and kept them on the windowsill under phyto lamps for 12-14 hours. So two months. The first 3 days around the clock. Only those petunias blossomed, which got the most light.
I also needed a hybrid for a pots, I stopped at the F1 Falls, white still in buds, and here it is fuchsia:
It is semi-ampelous, up to 70 cm shoots, no more is needed. For some reason I wanted many, many such unpretentious flowers.
And in order not to get early insemination, as in that year, I will not allow drying out. Pampers on the bottom of the pots underneath, who would not think about this agricultural event.
What awaits our petunky in the greenhouse? Two IR heaters and one small 600W heat gun. Because at night minus two is expected. Greenhouse 1.7 x 6 m. One infrared heater was clearly not enough. Although the petunky did not complain, we will not risk it. After all, they took them out without hardening.
Today it was cloudy, and tomorrow morning I will throw agrospan in arcs. From sunburn. It's easier to open it for 15 minutes than to drag the boxes for hardening.
Are your petunias already in the greenhouse?
I would be grateful for your subscription and communication :)
