Grass and moss die in a day! I tell you what product I use as a herbicide

An eternal problem

The grass on the site is simply overpowering. Every season I try to poison it, but in the spring it climbs again. It appears everywhere: from under the blind area, between tiles, around the fence, in general, where it is not necessary. I often go on business trips; So, you won't mow for two weeks - the weeds are waist-deep.

I used different herbicides from year to year. Tried both Roundup and Tornado; went through all the folk remedies. The effect does not suit me - the grass will turn yellow, wither a little, and after the rain it starts to climb again. On large weeds, in general, you have to pour the solution with buckets, and it costs money!

Accident helped

Two years ago I was building a wooden bathhouse in my summer cottage. For this, I brought in a forest and other building materials. Before the construction, I decided to treat all the lumber with an antiseptic. I spread the timber and boards on the grass and applied biosecurity with a sprayer.

The next day, I noticed that the grass turned yellow in those places where the biosecurity was hit. After another day, it simply dried up. I watched this place for a week - the grass died and did not grow anymore!

The result surprised me and I decided to conduct an experiment. I have a limestone path with moss growing in the seams. I tested it on it. The result is absolutely the same - after a day the moss lost its color, and after two it dried up altogether.

This is now my favorite herb remedy.

There are no more problems with grass or moss! I use the cheapest wood preservatives and they do a great job. The brand does not matter, but just be careful with drugs containing arsenic, fluorine and chromium. They plague the grass well, but the trees can also suffer.

The main function of biosecurity is to penetrate the wood structure and destroy bacteria and other microorganisms in it that cause wood to rot. They do well with mold and insects.

Antiseptics are fungicides, acids, salts, cationic and anionic surfactants with biocidal properties. They create a dead environment in wood for all living things. It costs them nothing to penetrate the dense structure, and the grass for them is even less of a problem. Here's a discovery I made!
