It is impossible to distinguish a heart cough from a cold by ear. A heart cough can also be hoarse, loud, and mucus. The complexity of the appearance of cough in such cases is pulmonary edema and is associated with a danger to life.

Unlike a cough with pneumonia, lying on your stomach is very dangerous with a heart cough. The heart is already weakened, and squeezing it will further impair its work and lead to a critical situation.

Cough with heart disease can increase with prolonged hypertension, manifest itself with heart defects, heart failure, especially if the heart rhythm is disturbed.
