"I want a house made of natural materials and breathable walls." Why are many people so attached to this stereotype?
Of course, how many people, so many opinions... But there are things that have stuck in people's heads, and have taken root over many decades. But time is moving forward.
Friends, I am glad to welcome you to my channel. For many of those who dream of their home, the desire to be closer to nature is one of the main ones.
In my house, construction work is in full swing, but already at this stage I constantly enjoy all the surrounding beauty.
And along with this, everyone wants to breathe clean air, eat vegetables from the garden, and drink crystal water (I donโt know where). In general, they become such "eco-homeowners".
Although they do not even represent the essence of their desires.
Many ideas about suburban life, we have come from a happy childhood.
There you are in the village, at your grandmother's, in a wooden house with a large stove, always full and warm ...
But at the same time, we do not think what an enormous amount of housework your grandma does so that you do not worry about anything... We do not see these nuances that decide everything.
And on these childhood emotions, many make their choice.
The house is made only of natural, natural materials, and so that the walls breathe ...
And such a house is easy to obtain, and not even very expensive.
But then "breathing" begins through all the cracks, which are inevitable in the frame. And along with this, heating costs grow cosmically. Then everyone comes to additional insulation, various vapor barrier, etc. And naturalness is no longer needed by anyone.
Well, how did you live before ???
- Previously, they simply proceeded from what is. In the villages now you can still find houses that are not on the foundation, but simply on the stones. And they built it this way, not because this is the best option, but out of despair ...
- Also, "breathing houses", in which in summer you sleep like in nature, in winter they just stoked a lot of firewood, around the clock. And if the house is large, then half of the rooms were simply closed for all the cold weather, and they did not enter until summer.
But no matter how strange it sounds, without it there is nowhere in the house.
Only with current technologies all these processes can be made regulated by means of a ventilation system.
My aerated concrete house is a good example. A light house, but made of stone (whoever said what), he did everything himself, with his hands, and no cracks. We add ventilation, and we get the same "breathing house", only without any problems. And this is not an advertisement, but my experience ๐ ...
