Installed an inexpensive electronic door peephole. First impressions

Greetings to the readers and subscribers of my channel!

I have long wanted to install an electronic door peephole with a camera and a monitor. After all, it is convenient, you can immediately see who is behind the door: your own or someone unfamiliar. Especially for children who cannot look through the peephole because of their height.

I got just such a model of an electronic peephole (link at the end of the article):

Camera with night mode. There is a call. Diagonal color display 7cm (2.8 inches) - not big and not small. It is connected via a ribbon cable to the monitor, which is hung on the mount. Fastening with a screw through the door is screwed (pulled together) with a peephole (camera). There were no batteries in the kit (you need 4 things. type AAA).

I inserted the batteries, checked the camera, display, and call. Installation is simple: you unscrew the old peephole, remove the film from the double-sided tape on the camera - install it in a vertical manner and screw on the mount.

The flex cable is installed in the display connector and hung on the mount. The installation took no more than 10 minutes.

In sleep mode, the display is off. The guest presses the button - the display lights up and the device takes a picture. An additional photo can also be taken by pressing the button on the display. Photos cannot be moved to a USB flash drive or computer. Are erased by simultaneously pressing the "left" and "right" buttons.

Ideal if there will be lighting of the guest's face from the side of the door. It happens that due to the light background on the landing, the face is too dark. In night mode, the image is also decent. But if the light comes on, then the camera does not go into color mode and the image is lit up. These are, perhaps, all the shortcomings so far. Viewing angle 90 degrees. Not as wide, but no more. 0.3 Mpix camera and two IR LEDs. Because the screen is small, then this camera resolution is sufficient. The set includes three screws of different lengths, allow you to install a peephole in a door 35-120 mm thick, with a door opening diameter: 14-22 mm. Two body colors: silver and gold. I think that for this price with such characteristics, this is an interesting version of an electronic peephole.
