You know the world does not stand still! Everything develops, improves! Scammers do not stand still!Increasingly, they are using clever schemes! And the worst thing is that children are used in these schemes! The brightest and most defenseless creatures who cannot be denied help!
Now I will tell my story!
It is becoming very scary for our world! For our modernity! For our children, who may find themselves without help due to the fact that adults will simply not believe them one day... They will not believe and will not help! You probably don't quite understand what I mean! I'm telling you!
An unpleasant situation happened to me over the weekend! Near "Petrovich" a girl came up to me, all in tears! I could not refuse help. But in the end he didn't help ... And, as it turned out, he did the right thing!
I live in St. Petersburg (but I am sure that this happens in any other cities in our country! Our strong, worthy, respected country!) Near shopping centers and near large construction stores, lost children have begun to appear more and more often, asking for help!
In fact, this is the work of scammers! Increasingly, they began to appear in parking lots near large stores and shopping centers during peak hours and on weekends!
It looks like this: a crying, frightened child in the parking lot near the store approaches a man, tearfully tells his story that he is lost and cannot find his parents. And of course, it is impossible not to help the child! The first thing that comes to mind is to take the child by the hand and take him to the store administrator to report the loss, try to find the parents and call the police if necessary. And so most people do, falling for the trick of scammers!
In fact, the situation is different.
The child turns out to be an accomplice to the scammers. A child in a parking lot comes up to a man, as a rule, in the "blind zone", i.e. where the view of the cameras does not extend. After telling the story of the loss, the child pretends to be waiting for help. The adult naturally takes the child by the hand and leads him to the store.
Suddenly, the child starts screaming and struggling, an angry father of the child appears, who suspects the man who came to the child's aid of harassment and other obscenities. And witnesses have already appeared around who can confirm that an adult man really was leading a child escaping somewhere.
How are things going next? I think that a quarrel, swearing, threats to call the police and, as a result, extortion of money! Money that is willingly given by a person who was just ready to help the child for free!
What have I done?
Of course, I was sure that this would not happen to me. But still he was warned, so he was able to orient himself, and acted differently. I tried to calm the girl down with words, saying that now we will find the parents. At the same time, I did not take her hand and lead her to the store. I just offered to call the police and wait for them to arrive. After all, this is a job for kind police officers who will find the girl's mother faster than me.
While I was taking my phone out of my bag to make a call, the girl was "blown away" by the wind. She quickly ran away without a word! It turned out that calling the police is a great test for the authenticity of words!
