Let's start with a hole that can be dug in half an hour with an excavator.

We lower the bottom there - you can pour gravel under it, but I don’t do that, and I’ll tell you why.

If you want, you can cover up and seal the joints with cement, but I don’t do this, since all the cracks will be clogged with microorganisms, and you cannot pierce them with any chemistry. As a result, a film appears that will not miss anything.

The option with double wells and a connection between them will cost more, but in fact, it will be much cheaper to maintain, since it has a special unit that separates water from all the garbage. Thus, you can save on pumping out and not order flushers for a whole year. Through the tee, water can be removed, which freely goes into the soil through the bottom of the well and does not harm the soil. I can say this with confidence, because I have dismantled old pits dozens of times and I always see what the soil looks like under them.
The overflow can save at least 6,000 rubles a year, which means that the payback will come in three years and will save many many more years.
And in the end I remembered that I had promised to tell you why I didn't pour rubble on the bottom. It will not let water through, and microorganisms will seal all the distances between the rubble - thus, the water from the overflow well will simply not go into the ground.
