Hello!Today I would like to tell you that due to the simplicity of the installation of the drainage pit, people make it on their own, but they do not know or do not understand the intricacies. Therefore, today in the heading #reader_experiences Oleg, a specialist with more than 20 years of experience, will share with us the secret of the drainage pit.

The secret of the drain pit! About which many know, but for some reason are silent!
“Today, in any village, in almost any house there are drain pits - it is expensive to install septic tanks, and I generally keep quiet about waste disposers. And there is practically no centralized sewage system in the village. That is why people make ordinary cheap pits. Surprisingly, there are practically no specialists in them.
I've been making pits for over 20 years now, and I want to share my experience. In rural settlements, there are basically no central networks, so I will tell you about a simple and ideal option for arranging a drain pit for a private house. "

Let's start with a hole that can be dug in half an hour with an excavator.

If the waters are close to the surface at 1 meter depth, then the hole can also be dug up to 1 meter, so the ring should be set with a size of 220 cm. If the well is two meters high, then 2 rings are already placed, but you can take a smaller size.

I will tell you in more detail using the example of a pit of 3.3 m. We lower the bottom there - you can pour gravel under it, but I don’t do that, and I’ll tell you why.

After that, the rings are lowered to the bottom and closed with a lid - it is used to pump out waste.

If you want, you can cover up and seal the joints with cement, but I don’t do this, since all the cracks will be clogged with microorganisms, and you cannot pierce them with any chemistry. As a result, a film appears that will not miss anything.

It is this design that most customers order and pump it out as it is filled - some once a month, some twice, depending on the use of water. Now I have here sewers take 500 rubles at a time.

The option with double wells and a connection between them will cost more, but in fact, it will be much cheaper to maintain, since it has a special unit that separates water from all the garbage. Thus, the garbage will always be at the bottom, and the oily film is always on top - the main task is to pick up water from there, which will be in the middle of the pit.

Thus, you can save on pumping out and not order flushers for a whole year. Through the tee, water can be removed, which freely goes into the soil through the bottom of the well and does not harm the soil. I can say this with confidence, because I have dismantled old pits dozens of times and I always see what the soil looks like under them.

The overflow can save at least 6,000 rubles a year, which means that the payback will come in three years and will save many many more years.

And in the end I remembered that I had promised to tell you why I didn't pour rubble on the bottom. It will not let water through, and microorganisms will seal all the distances between the rubble - thus, the water from the overflow well will simply not go into the ground.
