How much sweet can you eat per day so as not to exceed the norm
Nutritionists insist on the dangers of sweets and their complete exclusion from the diet. Sugar still enters the body along with products, in which it is found, albeit in small quantities. I wondered how to control the amount of sweets per day and how much you can eat. I found the answer from Antonina Starodubova, a nutritionist at the Moscow City Health Department.
A little is a lot
Sweet for many is like a magnet, a reward for success, joy. We are accustomed to this from childhood, extolling sweets as prizes in competitions. And for me there is no sweet happiness.
It turned out that a lot of sweets are harmful. So says nutritionist Antonina Starodubova. It is necessary to completely abandon sugar and all its derivatives. This is not easy to do, because sugar is present in many ready-made dishes, for example, bread, pancakes, yogurt, and curd products. Often we do not look at the composition, and if we do, we do not take into account how many grams of sugar are in the product.
WHO allows no more than 50 grams of sugar per day as a norm. Some nutritionists believe that this amount is more than enough and suggest eating no more than 25 grams of sugar per day. It is necessary to take into account the sugar in the finished product. Otherwise, all the results from the diet, when the amount of chocolate, bars, buns is cut back, will be useless if you do not control the sugar in the products. Ready-made curd dishes, ice cream, and even pies with vegetable fillings contain sugar.
It is necessary in the store to study the composition on the label and be sure to pay attention to the amount of sugar that the product contains. Only this approach helps to minimize sweets in the diet.
Sweet only on big holidays
In her address, Antonina Starodubova also appealed to parents who create a cult of sweets in children by encouraging sweets for good studies or behavior. She urged not to do this, saying that sweets should be presented as a special dish on holidays, that is, they can be enjoyed extremely rarely. It is to this perception of sweets by children that parents need to strive.
Healthy advice from a nutritionist is needed and the words of a specialist need to be heeded. But sometimes you want something sweet. It turned out that it is quite possible to replace sugar with something more useful, but no less tasty.
Antonina advises to introduce into the diet more berries and fruits that contain natural, natural sugar. Also useful are sweets prepared on the basis of juices, for example, marshmallow, marshmallow, berry jelly. The preparation of homemade sweets is always under control, the hostess knows that her candy is made without sugar. It is better to study the composition of ready-made natural sweets, perhaps sugar was added to them to improve the taste.
