On coals, you can cook not only meat, but also vegetables. Today we will share with you two recipes for delicious potatoes on skewers. These aromatic dishes are in no way inferior to the taste of traditional barbecue and we are sure that you will love them and will cook at every picnic.

Potatoes with bacon in foil

For this dish you will need: potatoes (medium in size), salted or smoked bacon, salt, black pepper, food foil.

Peel, wash and cut the potatoes into round pieces 1.5-2 cm thick. Cut the bacon into small pieces, 1 centimeter thick. The pieces of bacon should be about the size of a round potato.

Next, alternately string pieces of potatoes and bacon on a skewer. That is: a round potato is a piece of bacon. Salt and pepper a little. If the lard is salted, you don't need to salt the potatoes.

After that, tightly wrap the potato and bacon blank in foil and put on the grill. Bake 30 minutes in foil. Turn regularly so that the potatoes are cooked evenly.

After half an hour, remove the foil and brown the "kebab" for 7-10 minutes. When the dish is covered with an appetizing crust, you can serve it. Serve the dish with fresh vegetables and herbs.

Potatoes with smoked paprika

For cooking you will need: young potatoes (medium size), smoked paprika, olive oil, silicone brush. Everything is done very simply.

String the whole potato on a skewer. Make frequent deep cuts on the potatoes on both sides. The distance between the cuts is 1-1.5 cm.

Add smoked paprika to a small amount of olive oil and stir well. Next, grease the potatoes on all sides with oil and send them to the grill. Cook for 20-25 minutes. During cooking, do not forget to coat the potatoes with paprika oil.
