How to clarify and disinfect rusty or cloudy water

It would seem that what prevents from collecting rusty or muddy water in the pool - turned off the tap and no problem! However, some pools can take two days to fill and this process cannot be fully controlled. But if this happened, then use the simple method of purifying the water in the outdoor pool.

By the way, this method of cleaning is universal and helps not only to make the water transparent, but also prevents it from blooming.

You will need technical hydrogen peroxide (perhydrol) with a concentration of 37 or 60%. For one cubic meter of water, the dosage is as follows:

• perhydrol 37% - 750 ml;
• perhydrol 60% - 450 ml.

It is necessary to calculate the exact amount of the drug in order to avoid exceeding the concentration of perhydrol in the water. In case of an overdose, water will become hazardous to human health! The volume is indicated on each pool, calculate the amount of the applied drug based on this indicator.

How to clean

Everything is done very simply. After you calculate the exact amount of hydrogen peroxide, pour the drug into the pool and turn on the filtration. After 8-16 hours, the water will become completely transparent.

When in contact with water, hydrogen peroxide enters into a chemical reaction, during which it decomposes into hydrogen and oxygen. During the reaction, the water is not only disinfected, but also clarified - the contents of the pool become completely transparent.

When working with the drug, observe the precautions: a high concentration of perhydrol can cause a chemical burn to the skin.

If for some reason you have exceeded the dosage of perhydrol, then it can be neutralized with regular baking soda (sodium bicarbonate). To do this, add 15 grams of soda to each cubic meter of water and the Ph of the water will be restored.

How to speed up the heating of water in the pool

To help the water warm up faster, place thick black cellophane on the bottom of the pool. As a last resort, you can use large black garbage bags. Naturally, the cellophane film must be well pressed to the bottom of the pool. Several small cuts (10–15 cm) must be made in the foil in order for the water to circulate better.

Dark objects absorb the sun's rays, converting them into heat energy. Thus, solar heat will be more actively transferred to water and the heating process will accelerate.
