Russia takes the lead in the development of military artificial intelligence

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are developing the capabilities of military artificial intelligence (AI) much faster than previously thought.

These are the conclusions reached by the staff of the Center For Naval Analyzes (CNA), reading his report to the Pentagon representatives, which was devoted exclusively to the Russian potential in the military sphere.

So, according to the materials of the portal NextGov, the presented presentation indicates the fact that the United States America more has a monopoly status in an effort to unite all of its military potential into a single network under AI control. The Russian Federation is also developing in this direction.

Also, according to the records of the report, over the past several years, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have been actively promote the concept of artificial intelligence called "Automated Control System" (ACS).

And according to American data, in Russian documentation, this system is described as a system that automates various processes and functions of control of troops and / or weapons, including the collection, processing, storage, and transmission of information, which is vital to optimize the command and control of troops and weapons.
