Special plugs are sold for a profiled pipe, but if the posts are made of a round pipe, then the plugs will have to be invented. Faster, better and cheaper to make them from plastic bottles with a volume of one and a half liters - they are popularly called poltorashki.

What is needed for this

For the manufacture of plugs, plastic bottles are needed - two for each post. To give the desired shape to the plastic, a building hair dryer is needed. The hair dryer is powered by electricity, so you need either an extension cord or a generator - it all depends on the distance between the poles and the nearest outlet. And a knife or scissors will also come in handy.

How to drown out the pillars

First, you need to cut the bottles at a distance of 10-15 centimeters from the bottom - to make a kind of cups. It is better to make the size of the "cups" the same so that they look aesthetically pleasing on the posts. Next, put this "glass" on the pipe upside down and direct the working hair dryer at it. Keep the hair dryer at a distance of 5–8 centimeters from the plastic.

From heating, the plastic will begin to melt and narrow, thereby tightly squeezing the pipe and taking its shape. When there are no folds left on the plug and it begins to fit snugly against the pipe, you must immediately put on a piece of the second bottle and repeat the heating procedure.

The second layer of plastic is necessary for reliability and durability - this way the plug will better withstand UV radiation and other atmospheric influences. After installing the plugs, you can paint them in the color of the fence posts.
