Tired of watering every day in the greenhouse - I choose a drip irrigation system
Hot spring and summer of this year make you constantly water vegetables in greenhouses. If on the street you can water with a spinner, then you have to carry water to greenhouses with a watering can. It turns out that you cannot even be absent for a couple of days if daily watering is required.
Therefore, I decided to make a drip irrigation system, which I heard about many times from my friends. I went to see a colleague at the dacha and made sure that this system works and does not require special control. I firmly decided to install the same drip irrigator in my cucumber greenhouse. Only with the money was tight, but, having carved out a couple of thousand rubles, I went to Leroy Merlin.
Imagine my surprise when I found a drip irrigation system in a store at a discount for only 506 rubles!
It is designed for a 3x4 meter greenhouse. I have just such greenhouses, two of them. The box details how and what needs to be connected in order for drip irrigation to work as it should.
The advantage of drip irrigation is that it delivers moisture directly to the roots of the plant. There is no need to maintain any pressure in the system, everything goes by gravity from the barrel, which is in the greenhouse. This means that the water is always warm. Therefore, the top layer of the soil will not form a crust, and there will be constant moisture in the ground.
In addition, on certain days, you can add some nutrients, organic fertilizers to the water. The main thing is that they do not contain solid impurities.
Since this is the first time I purchase such a design, I decided to start with the cheapest one, and if everything works out, then try something different in the second greenhouse.
