Old tire

I put an unnecessary auto tire on a high, large block. We put a chock in the center of the tire and split it with an ax. Firewood does not fly in all directions and there is no need to bend over.

Just toss aside and continue working. The back does not hurt and protection from accidental logs hitting the legs.

Homemade insulation stripper

If you often have to work in the role of an electrician, then you can make the necessary device for removing insulation from the wires.

You will need a clothespin (old, wooden) and a pencil sharpener. We disassemble the sharpener. We need to remove the metal blade with a screw.

We fasten the blade to the clothespin. We clamp the wire and scroll the clothespin in a circle so that the insulation is cut off.

Homemade bottle cork

The metal cap from the glass bottle is flattened with a hammer to form a disc.
