Why are we being persuaded today to throw out old things - the answer is obvious
Advertising is called the engine of commerce for a reason. We are buying more and more various devices to speed up the work in the kitchen, make our home more comfortable, and increase our comfort.
As a result, it turns out that having used such things once or twice, we put them in a closet, or throw them into a drawer, so that we will never use them again.
Useless purchase
For me recently, such a purchase has turned out to be a pizza knife. I bake it often, that's why I decided to buy myself a fashionable slicer wheel. Since it is fashionable, it is not cheap, although it does not represent anything of itself - a metal wheel on a plastic handle.
As a result, it is inconvenient to cut homemade pizza for them, he does not cut through to the end. Then, it is also inconvenient to separate it - you need to take a new device - a spatula. Therefore, I continued to use an ordinary knife, which is easy to cut, and then also easy to pick up and put on a plate.
Bottom line: my son arrived, decided to cut the pizza with this knife and broke it by pressing harder. The rubbish is full.
Imposing stereotypes
But advertising not only imposes objects on us, it also imposes on us a way of thinking about things. How does this happen? It's very simple - we are forced to throw everything away and not reuse. We are told that we are doing wrong, so it is not necessary to do so.
Stereotype 1
Plastic Bags - Why Build a "Bag of Bags"?
That is, it turns out that every time you come to the store, you need to answer at the checkout: "Yes, the package is needed." And spend 6 rubles on it. 180 rubles per month, 2160 rubles per year. And if you go to more than one store per day, then you get a solid amount. In fact, it is not at all difficult to have 1-2 rolled up in your purse, tightened, for example, with a clerical elastic band, which is often given in pharmacies. And at home there will also be a use for them - to put garbage, bring vegetables from the dacha, pack some non-seasonal things. There are not many ways to use the package? And this is not a shame, but right - how much you can litter nature with polyethylene! Reusing it is our responsibility and there is nothing to be ashamed of.
Stereotype 2
Cloth towels in the kitchen should not be used, they collect germs. You need to buy paper or rayon towels.
And this is also some kind of unreasonable babble. Paper towels are not suitable for many of the functions that cloth towels perform - putting damp dishes on them, putting washed vegetables, wiping up a large amount of liquid accidentally spilled. If you use paper and viscose for this, then you can destroy the entire roll in one day. And they are quite expensive, especially viscose - about 300 rubles. Wipe your hands with them - yes, it's convenient. But nothing more. And the kitchen requires more, especially if you cook on it, and not just reheat ready-made semi-finished products.
It is only necessary to change and wash it daily in hot water - there will be no trace of germs.
And I can cite dozens of such stereotypes imposed on us by the traders.
For example, my cast-iron frying pan passed to me from my mother, and about 20-30 pans that I bought in my life are no longer suitable for a long time and are in a landfill. So now I use an old cast-iron frying pan, which is much older than me.
And the mother's ladle, which she took for herself, is used by the whole family for pouring compotes, because it is very convenient. And this thing is 55 years old!
Let them say what they want, and I'll reuse everything that is possible!
How do you feel about the fashionable slogan - throw out the old and buy a new one?
