How to quickly get rid of a wasp nest: just a few minutes
This was the third nest in the summer. All three are in the greenhouse, and what is warm, there is plenty of food around, as well as material for building a nest.
It all started around the middle of summer. Mom was bitten by a wasp while she was tying cucumbers in the greenhouse. Coming to me and complaining about the bite, she offered to dress more tightly, take thick mittens, some kind of rag and remove the hornet's nest, which appeared right above the cucumbers in the greenhouse.
I didn’t like this idea: it’s hot, some wasp will fly out of the rag and neither thick clothes nor mittens will save me.
He began to look for how quickly he could cope with the misfortune. The methods offered on the Internet amused. 🤣🤣🤣
The first thing they offer ...
"The easiest way to get rid of wasps is to burn the nest."
And at the same time burn down a house, a barn, a bathhouse or a greenhouse - as in my case.
Another way that I met ...
Drown the nest with the wasps. To do this, it was necessary to collect a full bucket of water, press it against the ceiling so that the nest was completely under water, prop the bucket with sticks and leave it for a day. And at the end, a warning that this method will not work if there are gaps between the bucket and the overlap through which the wasps can get out.
Again, not my case. 😄
Next came insecticides. It was necessary to prepare a solution of this poison, pour it into a bag, wrap the hornet's nest with this bag and fix it all with tape.
Alternatively, you can make an insecticide-poisoned wasp bait.
And finally aerosols ...
But this seemed to me more real. There was only one mosquito spray at home, but it did a surprisingly good job.
The first nest, I spared no regrets with mosquito repellent, and the result was immediately apparent. The wasps, on which the agent got hit, began to wiggle from side to side, they fell like a knocked out Messerschmitt and quickly turned out to be paws up.
At first I thought that more processing might be required, but the next day I did not see a single wasp.
A couple of weeks later, there was still a small nest in the greenhouse. I did it as well.
And today, closing the upper transoms in the greenhouse, I discovered another nest. I managed in the same way and after a couple of minutes I calmly closed this transom.
An aerosol that has proven effective against wasps is Mosquitall. Perhaps other similar ones will be good, I just had only this one.
