click fraud protection

Cleaning is an unpleasant occupation and, moreover, takes away precious time and energy. The problem is especially acute in houses with a large area. And life, as they say, is not so long as to spend it walking around with a vacuum cleaner and a mop. This post is not about saving money, but about comfort and time saving. Here we will tell you which coatings require the least maintenance and at the same time look very presentable.

3 floor coverings to save you tedious cleaning

Porcelain stoneware

This floor is perhaps the most comfortable to clean and does not require any special maintenance. It is enough to walk on the porcelain stoneware with a damp mop and it starts to shine! It does not absorb dirt, it does not care about moisture. The porcelain stoneware floor has, of course, some drawbacks. For example, when wet, the porcelain stoneware coating becomes slippery and it is not very appropriate in rooms with high humidity. But, for example, in the bathroom or in the kitchen, you can lay porcelain stoneware with a wood texture. You can also hear the accusation that porcelain stoneware is a cold coating. This problem can be solved if you equip a warm floor under it.

Cork covering

Waxed cork panels are good at repelling water, dust and other dirt. This coating is easily amenable to both dry and wet cleaning. With all this, cork has excellent thermal insulation characteristics - floors with such a coating will be very warm. It is worth noting the high soundproofing ability of cork panels. Another advantage cork floor - this is environmental friendliness: this material does not emit hazardous substances.

Self-leveling floor

Another "champion" for ease of cleaning. This coating, like porcelain stoneware tiles, is not afraid of water, does not absorb dirt, and does not require specialized maintenance. Besides self-leveling floor is a dielectric, which means it does not attract dust. The huge advantage of this floor is that it is very wear-resistant and can withstand significant mechanical loads - fallen household items are unlikely to harm it. Of all the above types, the self-leveling floor is not so "biting" in cost; especially its acrylic-cement version.
