I assembled a water purification system, although it seems to me that no one except me will understand it. But the main thing is that everything works.

For me, providing my future home with water has become a more difficult task than building the house itself. Although I may have done a lot myself and overdone it... It doesn't matter anymore! The main thing is that the finish line has been outlined.

Friends, everyone is a huge hello. I have already written more than one article on this topic, but in them I all walked around, and around. Let this be the background.

Now is the time for concrete results.

And since it is obtained from very dirty water, the option is acceptable for use in household needs (wash, wash).

And this is how the water purification system is located in my small basement.

It consists of several stages:

1️⃣ First, water from my Abyssinian well is pumped into the first barrel (225 liters). It is intended for the main flocculation and sediment settling. This happens due to the addition of a coagulant to the water (Aqua-Aurat 30).

• The reagent is added using a Venturi ejector when filling the barrel.
• Additionally, the caustic soda solution is intervened in the same way. It is needed to adjust the acidity of water, for a better course of the coagulation process.
• The sediment is removed from the barrel with a separate pump before the next filling of the barrel.

2️⃣ After settling the water (I have enough 6 hours), the already clarified water is pumped by the next pump into the second barrel.

On the way, sodium hypochlorite solution is also added by an ejector. It is needed to disinfect water and to oxidize the metals remaining in the water.

Thus, a little sediment is formed in the second barrel, but very little, compared to the first barrel.

3️⃣ And from here all this water is sent by another pump to the storage tanks. I have three barrels of 225 liters, joined together. That is, one large capacity is obtained.

The accumulator is needed to compensate for the settling time of water in the first two barrels.

4️⃣ From the reservoir, water will be supplied for consumption through a system of cartridge filters. I have three BB-20 filters, 20 microns, 5 microns, and carbon.

But the main task was to automate all the work.

In a nutshell, here a circuit was assembled based on float switches and conventional socket timers. The main thing was to connect everything so that everything was turned on and off at a certain time and in a certain order.
